Job summary

Suno is building an Artists & Creators pod, taking technical ownership of Songkick across the stack—backend, website, mobile app, data pipelines, and notifications. You will report to the Songkick Engineering Manager and collaborate with Product and Music teams to shape the team’s roadmap and ensure smooth integration.

The role blends hands-on work, system stabilization, and long-term influence on engineering practices within a fast-paced, music-focused company.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience; end-to-end ownership
• Ownership mentality; capable of spanning ambiguous product spaces
• Startup experience shipping quickly in fast-moving environments
• Strong API design; collaboration with mobile teams
• Clear communication; ability to write and lead discussions
• Experience with modern development workflows including E2E testing
• Enthusiasm for rapid learning and collaborative environments

Responsibilities

• Own part of the Songkick product end-to-end across backend, mobile app, data pipelines, and notifications
• Lead technical integration of Songkick into Suno and identify next build priorities
• Architect and maintain data aggregation systems ingesting data from many sources
• Assess large codebases and decide what to preserve or modernize
• Design APIs for mobile clients in collaboration with mobile teams
• Extend Suno's mission by improving live music discovery experiences
