M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Liquidity & Treasury in Buffalo, NY. You will design, develop, test, and support advanced Liquidity reporting solutions including FR 2052a and LCR, collaborating with Treasury, engineering, and data teams to ensure accurate, audit-ready data and timely regulatory reporting.

The role requires deep technical ownership, experience with Snowflake, Automic, and CI/CD, and a track record of delivering scalable financial data processing

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ systems analysis and/or application development work experience, or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ systems analysis and/or application development work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one relevant programming language.
• Experience with Liquidity data concepts and regulatory reporting controls is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and support complex Liquidity reporting solutions (FR 2052a, LCR).
• Lead requirements analysis and implement scalable data designs with stakeholders.
• Own Automic workflows, batch schedules, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate across engineering, data, Treasury, Finance, and risk teams to ensure timely reporting.
• Provide guidance through code reviews and mentoring of engineers.
