Job summary

RVO Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of large‑scale applications from concept to production. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.

This role emphasizes mentoring, high‑quality code, performance optimization, and modern cloud architectures. You’ll work primarily from our Denver office with optional remote days, stay current with emerging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of software development experience focusing on large-scale applications.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, PHP, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, C++).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with software testing and AI-assisted code generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development and delivery of software applications and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, scalable code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct effective code reviews.
• Improve development processes and stay updated with technologies.
