Job summary

Datavant, a leader in healthcare data collaboration, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive the architectural design and end-to-end delivery of scalable systems. You will partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Security to set technical direction and mentor engineers across levels.

In this role, you will design microservices, optimize performance, and advance observability and security. You will shape the engineering culture while maintaining a strong focus on data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with distributed systems.
• Strong design and cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Proven leadership of large technical projects.
• Collaborates across Product, Design, Infrastructure and Security.
• Commitment to data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural design and end-to-end delivery for key systems or migrations.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to set technical direction.
• Design scalable microservices and guide system decomposition initiatives.
• Drive performance optimization, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers at multiple levels and enhance team culture through best practices.
