Job summary

Zoox is seeking an experienced software engineer to enhance large-scale simulation pipelines used to validate the company's self-driving vehicle behavior. These data- and GPU-intensive workloads run on Ray.io and Kubernetes, demanding high availability and efficiency to accelerate autonomy development.

You will own architecture and reliability, collaborate with autonomy engineers, and contribute to production-grade tools and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency with Python and familiarity with C++.

Responsibilities

• Improve the cost efficiency, reliability, and performance of validation and simulation pipelines.
• Create production-grade APIs, SDKs, and tools to enable validations.
• Improve the ML training pipelines supporting the autonomous behavior org.
