Job summary

Zoox is seeking an experienced software engineer to work on large-scale simulation pipelines used to validate autonomous vehicle behavior. These data and GPU-intensive workloads are built on Ray.io and Kubernetes.

You will work closely with autonomy engineers, focusing on reliability and end-to-end use cases, with a high degree of independence. You will contribute to framework architecture and reliability, aiming to support new validations and ensure production systems run with high

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 6+ years of industry experience.
Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems for cost and efficiency.
Proficiency with Python and familiarity with C++.
Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.

Responsibilities

Improve the cost efficiency, reliability, and performance of our validation and simulation pipelines.
Create production-grade APIs, SDKs, and tools to enable a varied set of validations of autonomous behaviors.
Improve the ML training pipelines supporting the autonomous behavior org.
