W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Software Engineer III) to join the Product Associations & Recommendations team. You will help shape how customers discover products on Grainger.com by building scalable back-end services, APIs, and data-driven solutions.

You will work across full-stack disciplines, partnering with product, ML, and frontend teams, while delivering high-quality, production-ready software in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience building software applications in a professional engineering environment.
• Experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS and containerized applications.
• Experience with SQL and data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.

Responsabilidades

• Build applications and develop scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement CI/CD and drive engineering best practices.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers.
• Partner with teams across engineering, product, machine learning, and frontend to deliver recommendations and associations.
