Job summary

OPERS, the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, is seeking a Full Stack Developer 3 in Downtown Columbus. You will design, build, maintain, and test web applications that support internal processes and member services in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing and developing web applications.
• 2+ years with Java.
• 2+ years with JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or Bachelor’s plus Java training (candidates without a degree may be considered with 4+ years of relevant experience).
• Experience with Spring Framework/Spring Boot and/or Angular preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, TDD, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins/GitHub), automated testing, REST API development, and RDBMS.
