Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to help build scalable cloud applications for the life sciences industry. You will own backend development in Java and frontend work in React, collaborating across product, design, and QA teams to deliver impactful features.

You will mentor engineers, participate in the full SDLC, and help shape the product roadmap in a fast-growing SaaS environment with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software product development experience.
• 5+ years of backend engineering in Java or similar OOP languages.
• Modern frontend development experience (React preferred).
• Practical expertise with REST and SOAP API integration.
• Strong relational database skills (MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, other Engineers, and domain experts to design and develop cutting-edge applications in life science.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing coverage.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support of the product.
