Job summary

FS Poly is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development and integration of complex Java-based systems in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will analyze requirements to derive performance specs and code features, while guiding teams through the full software lifecycle.

Total compensation for qualified candidates can reach $290k+ depending on experience, position, and customer rates. TS/SCI with FS Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years in software engineering on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (4 additional SWE years may substitute for a degree).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of complex software systems.
• Analyze requirements to derive performance specifications and code new features.
• Debug existing systems and develop sophisticated algorithms.
• Oversee software development teams and ensure quality across products.
• Coordinate system installations and manage the full SDLC to meet timing/resource constraints.
