Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate secure cloud platform services and software that meet business requirements.
  • Demonstrate experience with the full development lifecycle for large-scale software products, including service-oriented architectures, design patterns, data, and web services.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers and offshore/global teams.
  • Understand product, project, and consumer priorities and follow Agile methodologies to deliver features within the specified timeline.
  • Independently perform coding and unit testing, and assist/mentor team members, including conducting code reviews.
  • Adhere to code quality standards, development best practices, and deliver defect-free code.
  • Partner with the business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end-to-end solutions.
  • Practice agile solution delivery and influence teams towards engineering best practices, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and everything-as-code.
  • Understand performance parameters, debug, fix application performance issues, and address/resolve operations tickets within guided SLAs.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, and/or 8+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development, including operational experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE (preferably Java 17+), Spring Boot, NoSQL databases, Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub.
  • 6+ years of experience with Agile/lean development practices.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Microservices and Event-driven architecture like Kafka.
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud environments and architectures, preferably Azure.
  • 2+ years of experience in building infrastructure using code (Terraform) and repeatable designs.
  • 2+ years of automation experience with CI/CD and source control systems like Git.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Python and AngularJS.
  • Experience using GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise with JUnit, TestNG, or other testing frameworks; knowledge of the DevOps toolchain.
  • Healthcare domain background.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

The salary range is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, based on full-time employment and various factors including location, education, and experience. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions.
