We are looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers eager to build in a fast-paced, startup environment inside a stable, profitable company. Our teams solve complex problems that impact the speed and effectiveness of the life sciences industry. In this role, you’ll develop in rapid sprints, and you'll find that we don’t believe in throwaway technology. You build it — we ship it.

You should have extensive experience in Java applications and the latest open source technologies. Ideal candidates have worked in enterprise software development or for a high-growth tech company.

What You'll Do

• Rapidly build new applications
• Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams on technical design and problem solving
• Own all aspects of feature implementation from design to deployment and support
• Break down complex problems into potential solutions quickly
• Mentor and guide engineers at all levels
• Define, evangelize, and mentor on best practices and coding standards
• Conduct extensive code reviews for engineers of all levels

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proven track record of building high-volume products at scale
• Hands-on experience with open source tools and technologies (Java, Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, AspectJ, Messaging, Solr, Lucene), AWS components (S3, RDS, EC2, EKS, MSK), and containers (Docker, K8s)
• Drive and flexibility to work hard and have fun in a fast-moving startup environment
• Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided

Compensation

• Base pay: $110,000 - $270,000
• Salary varies based on experience and location. Additional compensation may include bonuses and stock options.
