Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer IV to drive end-to-end solution delivery for major retail platforms. You will own hands-on implementation, engagement leadership, and operational ownership of high-impact solutions across Discovery and Delivery Tracks.

The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer who codes daily, prototypes proactively, and integrates AI/agent workflows across the software lifecycle, while mentoring teams and ensuring delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and 8+ years’ experience.
• Applying and utilizing AI-assisted tools and workflows for design, coding, test generation, and documentation.
• 8+ years of professional software development with daily hands-on coding and prototyping.
• 8+ years building cloud-native/microservices or event-driven systems on Azure or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, React/Vue.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery including design, implementation, and post-release accountability.
• Experience with REST/OpenAPI, messaging, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on proficiency with CI/CD, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, testing, and AI workflows.
• Experience with generative AI tools and measurable delivery impact.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead workshops and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution delivery across Discovery and Delivery Tracks.
• Mentor engineers and drive pair programming and code reviews.
• Lead technical design documents, ADRs, interface contracts and data models.
• Facilitate client workshops, present solutions, and drive approvals.
• Implement critical components and review team deliverables.
• Apply engineering standards, patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate discovery outcomes into actionable backlog items.
• Govern platform and product strategy with API-first designs.
