Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer IV to drive end-to-end solution delivery for major retail platforms. You will lead hands-on implementation, mentor teams, and own delivery sign-off, working across Discovery and Delivery Tracks with dual-track Agile.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of software development experience, cloud-native expertise (Azure), and strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and modern web stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on coding.
• 8+ years building cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven systems in Azure or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, React/Vue.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery and post-release accountability.
• REST/OpenAPI, messaging, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, deployment tooling, automated testing, and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Instrument and leverage AI/agentic workflows to accelerate design, prototyping, and test generation.
• Own end-to-end delivery across Discovery and Delivery Tracks, building prototypes and delivering implementations.
• Lead Dual-Track Agile initiatives, validating feasibility before full implementation.
• Translate discovery outcomes into delivery backlog items and ensure code quality and non-functional requirements.
• Produce ADRs, interface contracts, data models, and migration/rollback plans with architects.
