We are currently looking for talent to join our Intersight development team as part of Cisco's Data Center Compute portfolio.

Cisco Intersight is a cloud and on-premise based system management platform for Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System), and other Data Center products. It provides actionable intelligent level of management that enables IT organizations to analyze, simplify and automate their environments. It is driven by analytics and machine learning to provide actionable intelligence for IT operations management. Intersight Virtual Appliance is the on-premises solution that runs the Intersight capabilities in a Virtual Appliance.

As part of the Intersight Virtual Appliance team, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic core team and help shape the future of Data Center Infrastructure management technology, product direction, and business in Data Center. We are a close team with decades of experience building infrastructure products and a reputation for on-time delivery of quality products. Your co-workers will be dedicated Go/Java server-side developers and cloud/web technology architects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend development activities of Intersight SaaS & On-premises appliance products, including planning, designing, implementing, testing, automating, and collaborating with other teams.
• Influence feature development, and improve product quality and customer experience.
• Lead and mentor colleagues with your expertise and knowledge.
• Maintain an active understanding of industry practices for platform scaling and new technologies.
• Work on Agile teams using continuous development and deployment processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field with 10+ years of related experience.
• 7+ years of experience programming in languages like Go, Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience in model-driven microservices architecture using container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-native technologies and distributed systems on Linux and virtualization platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, GIT, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Data Center technologies and domains.
