Job summary

Teradyne North Reading, MA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Integrated System Test to design and extend software for a large test system across multiple software levels.

You will collaborate with global engineers, apply C# .NET on Windows using Visual Studio, and contribute to machine vision, WPF, and factory integration initiatives. This on-site role entails moderate travel within the US and to Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in C# .NET on Windows using Visual Studio.
• Experience building distributed, multi-threaded applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design.
• Background in semiconductors and/or test equipment is a plus.
• Experience with machine vision, WPF, capital equipment, factory integration, TCP/IP, and database programming is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with local and overseas design teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend software for a large test system with multiple levels of software.
• Design operating software for capital equipment, factory information systems and application software.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to diagnose and solve complex system problems.
• Collaborate with a larger design team around the world.
• This position is based in North Reading, MA and mostly on-site; moderate travel within US and to SE Asia.
