Job summary

ClearEdge is looking for a Software Engineer III in Emeryville, California, to join their team and tackle complex technical challenges impacting the DoD. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems, while providing technical leadership in projects.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in software engineering, expertise in Python and Bash, and familiarity with container technologies. An attractive benefits package, including a training allowance and 401(k) contributions, is offered.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI with Polygraph (within the last 7 years).
• Nine (9) years of software engineering experience OR Bachelor’s + seven (7) years OR Master’s + five (5) years.
• Experience developing in Unix/Linux environments and using Linux CLI.
• Recent experience in Python (3.x) development and Bash shell scripting.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance complex software systems.
• Integrate software with COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools.
• Develop cloud-based and containerized applications.
• Provide technical leadership and system integration support.
• Ensure software quality through testing and CI practices.

Python (3.x) development
