Job summary

You will guide junior engineers, contribute to continuous improvement, and help align technical work with Walmart’s business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area; 2 years' software engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-level designs during project discovery phases.
• Analyze and troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop solutions.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business objectives and standards.
• Write, test, and maintain code adhering to standards and security policies.
• Execute unit and regression testing to ensure software quality.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability and availability.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to small engineering teams.
