iHerb, LLC is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer II - Catalog to build and modernize our product catalog, a business-critical platform.

You will work across the full stack—backend services, React frontend, and relational data layers—in a dynamic, globally distributed environment. The role requires hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, production ownership from spec to deployment, and strong backend and frontend capabilities across C#/.NET, Go, Python, Java, and React.

Qualifications

• AI-driven SDLC: hands-on experience shipping production code with AI-assisted development tools
• Full-stack awareness across layers of the stack
• Production ownership: end-to-end ownership from spec to deployment and observability
• Code quality fundamentals: design principles, automated testing, code review, CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Build and ship catalog features end-to-end: API design, business logic, data models, and React UI
• Use AI-driven SDLC tools as a core part of daily workflow
• Participate in catalog modernization alongside the existing platform
• Write and maintain automated tests; ensure quality is built in
• Review pull requests and maintain code standards
• Collaborate with product and design to refine specs
• Instrument services with logging, metrics, and alerts; participate in on-call rotation
