Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the TCX Engineering team to own end-to-end design and delivery of AI-powered documentation experiences and large distributed systems. You will contribute code, mentor teammates, and influence architectural decisions using Lambda, DynamoDB, and ML services.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment delivering features rapidly, while ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with customer needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

Responsibilities

• Design and own technical software AI-powered components that are scalable, performant and easy to maintain.
• Provide guidance on technology choices.
