Qualifications

or a combination of education and experience that provides the skills and abilities to perform the role effectively.ExperienceTypically 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent experience).Strong technical background in backend development, preferably with Java, Spring Boot, or similar technologies.Familiarity with, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Experience working with distributed systems or SaaS platforms.Hands-on experience in database design and optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end outcomes for significant features or systems, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with product, project management, design, and other partner teams.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)Experience with large-scale, distributed, or highly available systems.Experience contributing to or leading community initiatives such as mentoring programs, technical talks, internal working groups, or hiring efforts.Experience working in the education, or related domains.Benefits and Pay Range:Pay Range – This role’s range is $93,250 - $166,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan.
