Job summary

CoreWeave, a leading AI cloud provider, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Security Foundations group. You will shape security observability and detection capabilities by integrating with diverse infrastructures, collecting logs, and making them searchable to derive intelligence.

You’ll participate in building SIEM infrastructure, data pipelines, and security data analysis tooling, collaborating across security, data platform, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of large scale data processing and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages, with the ability to build production tooling and automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes.

What You'll Do

The Security Foundations organization at CoreWeave keeps CoreWeave Cloud secure by design, from data centers and GPU fleets to the platform layers powering our customers' AI workloads. The security infrastructure team is the builder of foundational infrastructure that enables securing CoreWeave at scale.

We partner with teams across the company to deliver reliable insights and data that security decisions, detections, and enforcements rely on.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Security Infrastructure team, you will shape security observability and detection capabilities by integrating with various infrastructures, acquiring logs and data, and making them searchable to derive intelligence. Our Security Detections, Insider Risk, Threat Hunting and many more programs depend on the platform the team builds and owns.

In This Role, You Will

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of our SIEM as an infrastructure, and develop data pipelines that acquire huge amounts of data across all of our infrastructure surfaces.
• Collaborate with various security teams, data platform teams, and other infrastructure teams in building solutions that scale.
• Do hands‑on work on data processing, data lake solutions, elasticsearch and other technologies that make security data analysis possible.

Who You Are

• (5)+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of large scale data processing and data pipelines
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages, with the ability to build production tooling and automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes

Preferred

• Experience building SIEM, Data platforms or Observability platforms.

The base salary range for this role is $153,000 to $204,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
