Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement new features across a variety of products. You will deliver high-quality, high-performance code in an agile environment and work on hybrid opportunities out of Lenexa, KS.

The role requires 5 years of software development experience, strong OO design, and proficiency in .NET and at least one modern language with SQL/Oracle knowledge. Collaboration and mentoring are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Solid fundamentals in OO design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling.
• Experience with Enterprise .NET and at least one modern language such as Java; SQL/Oracle expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop key features for large-scale enterprise applications and new initiatives.
• Participate in full SDLC including design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Assist with requirements generation and analysis for software solutions.
• Lead small to midsize projects and mentor teammates.
• Collaborate with engineers to design robust, scalable systems.
