Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Sr Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA to drive engineering projects by developing software solutions, testing, and reporting.

The role allows telecommuting but requires 3-4 days on-site per week at the Bellevue worksite, with no planned international travel. Responsibilities include building scalable APIs, modern UI components, and migrating legacy environments while collaborating across technical teams.

Qualifications

Developing scalable APIs and microservices using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Docker, and deploying solutions on AWS Cloud.
Developing responsive UIs with AngularJS, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, AJAX, and mobile apps using SwiftUI and Storyboard.
WebSphere commerce migration, WebSphere application server upgrade, Java and Linux upgrades, Angular/Node upgrade, Oracle database upgrade, DB table partitioning, SQL query tuning, caching and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Understand system protocols, data flows, and current technology benefits.
Independently develop a full software stack and contribute to designs for new ideas.
Collaborate with system engineers to define requirements and automation needs.
Document systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for management review.
Mentor others and run in-house workshops to share knowledge.
