SUMMARY:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, solution validation, and architectural leadership on complex projects, focusing on innovation and high-quality outcomes.
  • Project Execution and Strategy: Collaborate with the Team Lead, Manager, Architects, Cloud Engineers, and other stakeholders to assist in defining project goals, establishing technical standards, and setting timelines, contributing strategically to the project planning and execution phases.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze existing applications for performance improvements, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Mentoring and Collaboration: Mentor associates, mid-level developers, and new team members, promoting a learning culture and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote overall quality of outputs across all development processes by continually reviewing and refining code quality metrics.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support development and ensure smooth operations.

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE

  • Proven track record of successful project execution in a team-specific context, demonstrating the ability to lead projects within a specialized team environment.
  • Experience building native cloud applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Microsoft AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals Certification (if certification is not current, must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment)
  • AZ-204 Certification (if certification is not current, must be obtained within first six months of employment)
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapts to new technologies and changing project requirements.
  • Collaboration: Effectively collaborates within teams and with other departments.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, enhancing team collaboration and project clarity.
  • Problem-solving: Exceptional analytical skills, swiftly analyzing and resolving complex technical issues to maintain project momentum and code quality.
  • Growth Mindset: Continuously seeks to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies, staying current with industry best practices.
  • Cloud Technologies and Services: In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Blob Storage for scalable cloud storage solutions and implementing cloud-native applications. Agile Methodology: Highly proficient across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, implementing Agile practices effectively to enhance project delivery.
  • DevOps Practices: Experienced in CI/CD to automate application build, testing, and deployment.
  • Microservices Architecture: Skilled in designing and implementing solutions using microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.
  • Security Testing: Understands and implements security best practices within software development and cloud deployments.
  • Database Management and Design: Proficient in SQL for complex query writing and database management. Experienced with Cosmos DB for NoSQL solutions and SQL Server or Oracle for relational database services.
  • Azure Development: Proficient in building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centers.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Specific experience with front-end development using Angular, and strong understanding of Component composition and performance
  • Experience with Web Accessability and Localization
  • Experience with Monorepo tools, suchas Nx
  • Experience with micro front-end architecture

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
