Senior Software Engineer – Growth Team

This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in Austin, TX. We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a background in building web applications and analyzing data to improve our customers’ experiences. You will work cross‑functionally with marketing, product, and engineering to deliver end‑to‑end solutions for the customer journey from first contact to initial policy purchase.

Responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end solutions throughout the customer journey from initial contact to first policies.
• Enable more customers to self‑serve when getting their first policy with Steadily.
• Implement and monitor analytics to understand pain points our customers are facing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building in a complex codebase (leadership experience is a plus).
• Strong product focus with thoughtful opinions on user experience.
• Pragmatic outlook: balance speed and quality, smart use of off‑the‑shelf solutions, and deploy to production within hours of starting.
• Ability to quickly learn new languages or frameworks.
