Job summary

A fully remote SaaS startup is seeking a Backend Developer to design and ship critical Golang services and manage AWS-based infrastructures. This role requires 3–6 years of SaaS experience and a strong backend fluency with Golang. Ideal candidates will enjoy working autonomously and embracing a culture of growth and innovation.

Overview

Fully remote SaaS startup with room for growth, autonomy, and ownership of an exciting project. You’ll be the driver on a critical set of backend services with end-to-end ownership.

What you’ll do

• Design and ship Golang services
• Build on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch) with IaC and CI/CD
• Own event-driven pipelines for telemetry, schedules, and user automations
• Model data in PostgreSQL and Redis
• Raise the bar on observability and security

What we're looking for

• 3–6 years of experience working on SaaS products
• Proven backend fluency with Golang
• Well-versed with AWS services and infrastructure
• Past startup experience, ideally owning projects with a lean team
• Comfort working remotely with self-direction as needed

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping backend services in a SaaS environment
• Strong knowledge of Golang and AWS stack
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting

Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
