Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid role in St. Paul, Minnesota. You will design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions using Go, Python, React, and TypeScript, with a focus on secure APIs and cloud-native architectures.

You will lead architectural discussions, mentor teammates, and drive software quality across the stack while collaborating with product teams and delivering high-impact features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Go and/or Python development
• Advanced React and TypeScript development experience
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
• AWS cloud experience including core infrastructure services
• Docker containerization experience
• Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization
• Strong testing and software quality practices
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities

Responsibilities

• Design scalable application architectures across frontend and backend systems
• Build and maintain secure APIs and services
• Develop modern web applications utilizing React and TypeScript
• Lead technical design discussions and architectural decisions
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
