Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Sr. Software Dev Engineer for the Leo Telemetry Platform. The role designs and builds globally distributed data systems, enabling low-latency analytics and agentic AI capabilities across Leo devices and services.

You will lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and deliver scalable cloud services using AWS technologies to support Leo’s real-time data processing and decision-making at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data lakehouse and analytics layers.
• Establish data quality, metadata management and lineage tracking.
• Design standardized data ingestion patterns with validation gates.
• Develop globally distributed data systems with low-latency AI retrieval.
