Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable software solutions leveraging GenAI techniques and Google Cloud Platform.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise AI capabilities. The position requires a strong foundation in software development, architecture, and experience with GenAI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
• Experience developing and launching products leveraging ADK.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in design reviews to select the best available technologies.
• Triage and resolve system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, network, and service quality.
• Implement Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agent-based systems.
• Develop and deploy AI solutions specifically for enterprise applications.
