Overview

We are looking for a GenAI Engineer to join a team focused on building AI-driven platforms and systems integrations. The ideal candidate is excited about contributing to high-impact products that leverage LLMs and modern software engineering practices. This is a W2 contract, fully remote role. There is potential for long-term growth and additional opportunities, based on performance and business needs. The hourly compensation for this role is $60-$65/hr.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered features with attention to latency, token efficiency, and user experience.
• Integrate and optimize large language models (e.g., Gemini, Copilot, Claude, GPT) including prompt design, API orchestration, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven platforms and system integrations.
• Apply modern software engineering practices and cloud infrastructure knowledge to support scalable solutions.
• Contribute to product-oriented initiatives while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Demonstrate grit, curiosity, and adaptability in ambiguous settings.

Primary Requirements

• Must reside within the continental U.S.
• This is a W-2 only, fully remote contract opportunity (no C2C).
• We are unable to offer any form of work authorization sponsorship, now or in the future. This includes F-1 visa holders on OPT or STEM extensions.
• Standard Eastern Time business hours (full-time).
• You must be exclusively dedicated to this role (no concurrent job engagements).
• To meet the client’s cybersecurity requirements, contractors are expected to have their camera on during meetings, collaboration sessions, etc. for the first 90 days of the assignment. All work must be performed from within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
