Overview

We are seeking two experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our dynamic team in the NY/NJ area. The ideal candidates have hands-on cloud-native development experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and strong proficiency in Python and Java. You will translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with relational databases, caching strategies, and OpenShift (OCP) is highly desirable. This is a long-term contract position in the NY/NJ area.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.


• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Qualifications

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Extensive experience with core services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.


• Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud-native architectures on GCP.


• Programming Languages: Hands-on coding experience in Python and Java, with a strong understanding of best practices and modern frameworks.


• Databases & Caching: Proficiency with relational databases and experience implementing caching solutions to optimize performance and responsiveness.


• OpenShift (OCP): Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform for deploying and managing containerized applications is a major plus.


• Additional Skills: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices; knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
