What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain resilient micro-services and APIs on AWS Cloud
- Operate within a CI/CD Cloud environment, implementing functionality through distributed components and services
- Write high-quality code while adhering to coding, security, and testing best practices
- Provide support for production systems, including on-call support, deployments, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate effectively with team members and share knowledge to uphold best practices and technical standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience developing distributed cloud applications
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, serverless programming, and cloud architectures
- Proficiency in designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Expertise in JavaScript-based programming languages such as Node.js and React

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery and modern development practices (Jenkins, Docker, EC2)
- Hands-on experience writing unit, integration, and system tests (Jest, Mocha, Catchpoint)
- Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis)
- Experience building observability into services and infrastructure (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in an agile/scrum-team oriented environment
