Job summary

Ethereum Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack with strong TypeScript skills to build and enhance pricing applications. You will work on AWS-based services, implement thorough tests, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, in-depth knowledge of React/Next.js, and hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and experience with testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, wdio, LambdaTest).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (CDK/SAM, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions).
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and unit testing best practices.
• Experience with Linux and open-source software.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new features for pricing applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Cypress and Jest.
• Deploying and managing AWS-based applications using CDK/SAM, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS and Step Functions.
• Troubleshooting production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
• Code reviews and collaboration with engineers; mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborating with business analysts and cross-team design sessions.
• Improving development processes and tooling.
• Monitoring data pipelines and real-time analytics data freshness and correctness.
• Working with data engineers, architects, stakeholders, and data consumers to gather requirements.
• Participating in an on-call rotation (8 am EST - 5 pm PST primary coverage).

Work Authorization:

• Designing and developing new features and enhancements for our pricing applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress and Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Deploying and managing applications and infrastructure on AWS using tools like CDK/SAM, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
• Participating actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Collaborating with business analysts and participating in cross-team design sessions.
• Contributing to the improvement of our development processes and tooling.

• Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems during agreed-upon hours (8 am EST - 5 pm PST primary coverage)."

5+ years of professional experience in full-stacksoftwaredevelopment.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding ofsoftwaretesting principles and experience with testing frameworks and runners (e.g., Cypress, Jest, wdio, LambdaTest).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including CDK/SAM, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, refactoring techniques, and unit testing best practices.
• Experience with Linux and open-sourcesoftware.
