Job summary

Edge Case Research is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive full‑stack development for scalable services and infrastructure. You will design, develop, and maintain distributed systems, leveraging AWS and modern frontend/backend stacks to deliver robust APIs and fluid user experiences.

You will lead architectural evolution, collaborate across product, frontend, and backend teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and stay current with emerging technologies to ensure reliable, scalable systems for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in React, Vue or other front end technologies
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, VPC).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Authorization to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop full stack features using Vue, Golang, Python 3, and AWS services.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Lead the architectural design and implementation of new features for distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
