What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ship projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing
- Mentor junior developers and uphold standards for quality through code reviews
- Participate in cross-functional team projects and help shape the roadmap for future initiatives
- Conduct experiments and be data-driven to enhance user experience and business metrics

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of professional working experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience with Python or Node on the backend
- 2+ years of experience working with a modern frontend JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
- Proven experience mentoring junior developers
- Comfortable tackling system design challenges and working with web services/modern web technologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with a breadth of technologies including React, Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake
- SQL/analytics knowledge and familiarity with devops concepts
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience writing end-to-end/browser-based tests
- Worked closely with business stakeholders
