Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Colorado) seeks a seasoned full‑stack engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable products. You will own frontend and backend development with React/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, and cloud-native deployments on AWS or Azure, while upholding security and compliance.

You’ll collaborate with product, Scrum, and cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end in an Agile environment, leveraging DevOps practices and modern data stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to six years of relevant experience.
• Experience building modern front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+).
• Experience with React core principles, hooks, and Redux.
• Strong hands-on experience in microservices and API development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Cloud-native apps on AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to event-driven and streaming architectures (Kafka or Spark).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, IaC.
• Hands-on with Jenkins/CloudBees; familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher.
• API management and service mesh (Apigee, Istio).
• End-to-end feature delivery mindset; SDLC and DevOps aware.
• Able to collaborate across engineering, product, scrum, vendors, stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Job description

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
• Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production‑ready and testable code
• Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
• Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages operational improvements

Requirements

• Experience building modern front‑end applications using React.js and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ features, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with React core principles, component lifecycle, hooks, and state management libraries such as Redux
• Strong hands‑on experience in microservices and API development using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing cloud‑native applications on AWS or Azure
• Exposure to event‑driven and streaming architectures, including Kafka or Spark
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
• Strong experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Jenkins/CloudBees, and familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
• Experience with API management and service mesh technologies such as Apigee and Istio
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end feature delivery, including user impact, system flows, and business outcomes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong grasp of SDLC and DevOps principles
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, scrum, vendors, stakeholders)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
