Job summary

Procore Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our Product & Technology Team. You will own and lead critical frontend projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with engineering, product, and UX to deliver high-quality features that delight users.

Bring 5+ years of JavaScript, React, and TypeScript experience; strong OO/FP fundamentals and TDD. Our stack includes Ruby/Rails/Node.js/React on AWS with Kubernetes and CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development and Design principles
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Strong experience with React or equivalent client-side frameworks and TypeScript; bonus: AG Grid experience
• Experience with contributing to and maintaining shared libraries
• Understanding of the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product goals, and adept at formulating solutions that balance all of these needs
• Proven expertise with modern web development including development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring
• Experience teaching/mentoring and developing more junior-level engineers

Responsibilities

• Help establish standards for development teams and collaborate on initiatives with infrastructure, platform, and other software engineering teams

• Leverage our tech stack: Primarily Ruby/Rails/Node.js/React/Postgres hosted on AWS and increasingly using Kubernetes and languages such as Java and Typescript, CircleCI for Continuous Integration, and a combination of ArgoCD and an in-house tool for CD.
• Leverage AI-assisted development workflows across planning, implementation, testing, and incident response to improve delivery speed and engineering quality

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) in Procore's Construction Financials division, you'll join our journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry. You'll own and lead critical new projects, improve our frontend architecture, mentor and develop junior engineers, and contribute to enhancing Procore's engineering ecosystem. This position will report to our Manager, Engineering (Change Events) and is based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range: 140,960.00 - 193,820.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
