Job summary

ExtraHop in Seattle seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead development challenges on the Framework team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience in production software. Key tasks include designing high-performance services, working across networking layers, and collaborating with various engineering teams. The salary range is $160,000 - $175,000, plus bonus and benefits, including health coverage, flexible PTO, and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and delivering production software.
• Strong expertise in C and C++ and other languages such as Go and Python.
• Proven ability to build and maintain performance critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance services for core framework systems.
• Engage fully in agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production and performance issues independently.
