Job summary

Foundry Robotics is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (IC) to build the backend systems and infrastructure powering the factory of the future. You will design and implement cloud-based backend systems, on‑prem factory services, and data flows across embedded to cloud environments.

We expect 3–6 years shipping production software, strong backend and infrastructure expertise, and comfort owning end‑to‑end systems at large scale.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years building and shipping real production software.
• Deep experience in backend systems and infrastructure, hybrid cloud + edge, and data at scale.
• Comfortable owning complex systems end‑to‑end and working independently.
• Experience at large scale (terabytes → petabytes) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based backend for planning, scheduling, execution, inventory, traceability, and telemetry.
• Design multi‑compute environment architectures spanning embedded, on‑prem, and cloud systems.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Ensure secure, reliable data movement between factory floor and cloud.
