Job summary

Veho is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Facilities team to build the Ground Operations tooling powering the warehouse floor. This true full-stack role spans React Native, backend services, and web, tackling device challenges like scanner integrations and offline behavior.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and Data to deliver scalable tools for Veho's rapidly growing logistics platform, mentoring teammates and driving reliability across mobile, backend, and web

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments.
• Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React, with depth on both frontend and backend.
• Deep, hands-on experience with React Native and Android in production.
• Experience developing custom React Native native modules.
• Experience integrating with 3rd-party hardware and SDKs (e.g. barcode scanners, label printers, rugged handheld devices).
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and working within distributed systems.
• Experience working in AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Experience in the Supply Chain or logistics domain preferred, with a focus on warehouse/operations software.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills, including on-device debugging.
• A self-starter mindset with ability to move quickly and ship iteratively.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with Product and Operations teams to solve real-world operational challenges.
• Tech Stack: AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React, React Native.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy features end to end, from React Native screens through APIs and services behind them.
• Own the technical direction of our mobile surfaces, including native modules, device integrations, release process, and app performance.
• Integrate with scanners, printers, and other 3rd-party hardware and SDKs used in our facilities.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for complex, distributed systems.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in high-traffic production environments.
• Lead thoughtful peer code reviews to raise engineering standards across mobile, backend, and web.
• Partner with Operations stakeholders to translate warehouse workflows into elegant technical solutions.
• Improve system observability, monitoring, and reliability, especially for field devices.
• Mentor engineers and grow mobile expertise across the team.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Facilities team, you will build the systems and applications that power Veho's Ground Operations, with a particular focus on the mobile tools our warehouse teams use on the floor every day. This is a true full-stack role: you'll work across React Native, backend services, and web, and you'll be the engineer the team leans on when a problem lives on the device, whether that's a scanner integration, offline behavior, or performance on rugged hardware.

Your work will directly impact Ground Operations Associates, Supervisors, and Operations Managers who rely on these systems to move packages efficiently and accurately. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Data teams to deliver reliable tools that scale with Veho's rapid growth.

What You Bring
