Job summary

Veho is seeking a Ground Operations Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale to lead Warehouse Associates and Leads, coaching staff toward safety and operational excellence. You will ensure accurate reporting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to keep sort and launch packages moving efficiently.

The role is onsite, with overnight shifts including weekends; compensation includes equity, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in management in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Is physically able to work in a warehouse with standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and in varying temperatures.

Compensation:

$60,000-$70,000 annually

The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401(k) and unlimited PTO for exempt level roles.

Anticipated Schedule: Overnight, including weekends

Veho’s operating hours vary and are based on the needs of the operation. Warehouses typically have first, second, and third shifts and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the company and to changes in business needs. Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during their scheduled shift and is at the discretion of your manager if there is an opportunity to work off-site occasionally. Specific expectations should be discussed with your manager.

Role Summary:

As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you are a hands-on leader, working day-to-day with our Warehouse Associates and Leads. You will be responsible for the development of the warehouse staff, including coaching them on the skills necessary to be successful in the warehouse and developing for future success. You will set a standard of operational excellence and ensure your team’s success through values-based leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accuracy of reports, scheduling, cross-functional communication, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety, and driving success.

• Works well in an ever-changing environment to ensure on-time delivery and exceed expectations of our customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees.

• Effectively schedule shifts that align with business needs based on operational hours and projected volume.

• Hands‑on leader with the ability to coach, train and develop team members.

• Proven record of leading a team with values-based leadership to achieve key KPIs and metrics for the operation.

• Demonstrates a high level of teamwork, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a successful operation and organization as a whole

  • May work in hot or cold temperatures.

  • May work in an environment with loud noise and fumes.

  • Minimal travel required.
