GROPYUS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Product Delivery team. You will build and operate software powering our production platform, collaborating with industrial engineers and other engineers to translate production needs into solid, scalable solutions.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from design to deployment, with a focus on reliability, testing, and continuous improvement in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Built, tested, deployed, and operated software in production.
• Familiar with CI/CD, feature flags, incremental rollout, and rollback strategies.
• Understanding production reliability and incident post-mortems.

About the Role:

You will be part of a highly collaborative product team working at the core of our manufacturingfacilitytransforming digital models into physical elements at scale.

Product Teams at GROPYUS own what they build, including underlying infrastructure,buildpipelines, automated testing, release and rollout management, monitoring, and support. You will be trusted to solve problems efficiently and effectively building on top of a solid architecture and operational foundation and will be encouraged to seek out under-attended topics and assume responsibility for them both within your product area as well as across product areas.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for building our production platform. You will write software – both alone as well as in pair with your team colleagues, ensure functionality with a solid testing approach and deploy and rollout changes to the live systems. Furthermore, our teams are also responsible foroperatingand troubleshooting the software they have developed during working hours of the factory.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team, you willbe responsible for:

• Designing, building, testing and operating software solutions for logistics and manufacturing use cases incl. Robots, AGVs and other (semi) automated manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineers to translate production needs into clear requirements and practical solution concepts.
• Take ownership of improving the systems that power our production platform, from identifying gaps to implementing reliable solutions.

We are looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with operational ownership. You are curious, pragmatic, and motivated by solving complex problems where software directly shapes physical production.

• You act like an owner and take responsibility for understanding and improving the systems your team builds and operates.
• You have built, tested, deployed, and operated software in production.
• You know modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, feature flags, incremental rollout, and rollback strategies.
• You understand production reliability, resilient patterns, incident management, post-mortems, and the business impact of downtime.
• You use modern AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to improve engineering quality, speed, and learning.
• You are comfortable with technologies such as Kotlin/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and Azure cloud.
