Job summary

Beazley Security in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the next generation of our Exposure Management platform, which reveals clients' external attack surfaces and prioritizes vulnerabilities.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python and TypeScript skills, and hands-on AWS/Azure; you'll mentor teammates, collaborate with product and threat research, and ship reliable data-driven features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, owning production systems from design to operation.
• AI-first approach with daily usage of AI tools to design, build, test, and review code.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills with cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• Clear writing and speaking communication; ability to mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run services powering the Exposure Management platform.
• Lead technical design for new scanning and asset discovery capabilities.
• Ensure data presented to clients is accurate and current.
• Improve vulnerability prioritization using AI patterns.
• Collaborate with product, threat research, and client teams to ship features.
