ABOUT THE ROLE

Be part of a team where you will have autonomy to design and develop technological advances. You’ll work in a very agile and collaborative environment establishing advanced methods, theories and research techniques that support the technical vision and strategy of Entegral. We’ll look to you as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of technology that will represent your team positively. You’ll provide viable recommendations for new solutions and lead their implementation, ensure team commitments are established and met, and guide less senior team members on new tasks and assignments. Daily activities include collaborating with Architects, recommending architecture adjustments, and improving overall product quality and integration efficiencies. You’ll also monitor key performance metrics to ensure compliance with standards, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

You will leverage your technical knowledge to solve business problems. As a subject matter expert, you will evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation, offering improvement recommendations. You will listen to customer needs to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with their expectations.

• Participate in designing, developing, and reviewing code, with opportunities for strategic visioning, adopting new technologies, and process improvements.
• Be involved in the full application lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain, innovating at each stage.
• Design APIs and collaborate with teams to build integrations.
• Develop application components from UI to data store.
• Share responsibility for occasional after-hours on-call support.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and data per SDLC standards.
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews.

Qualifications

Required:

• Authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum college-level education in the UK.
• 3+ years of professional experience in enterprise application design and development.
• 2+ years experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo).
• 1+ years experience in native Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack libraries (Room, Hilt, Compose, Work Manager).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace for remote work.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with front-end/back-end technologies like Angular, Nest.js, Java, Node.js, SpringBoot.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google, Kubernetes).
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SaaS development, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools like REST-assured or Selenium.
• Some Android development experience with Kotlin.

Hours: 40 per week

Salary: £54,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience
