Job summary

FanThreeSixty in Leawood, KS is seeking a Software Engineer III to own end-to-end delivery of significant product features. You will translate ambiguous requirements into concrete plans, design and implement robust code, and collaborate with product and QA to ensure quality.

This role emphasizes system design, API work, microservices, and modern tooling. You’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and participate in on-call rotation to keep services reliable.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development/engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Software Engineering.
• Strong grasp of system design and data structures.
• Experience with Java, Python, React and API design.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for a significant slice of the product surface including bugs, enhancements, and new features.
• Turn requirements into technical specs and plan projects with milestones.
• Design, build, and maintain code and data across the stack; perform testing and documentation.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and participate in architecture discussions.
• Respond to incidents on services owned and address technical debt.
