Job summary

Google seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Oklahoma City to design, develop, and test software for devices and services. You will review peers’ code, contribute to documentation, and troubleshoot issues affecting hardware, network, or service quality.

A Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required, with five years of experience in software development and embedded OS exposure. Preferred candidates may hold an MS/PhD, have leadership experience, and show a track record in accessible

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
5+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages and data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or releasing software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

Responsibilities

Write and test product or device development code.
Review code written by peers and provide feedback on best practices (style, code review, correctness, testability, efficiency).
Contribute to documentation or educational content and update it with product/app updates and user feedback.
Troubleshoot product or device issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources and impact on hardware, network, or service quality.
