DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate in one or more phases of the software life cycle: requirements development, software design/implementation, integration, and verification
2. Develop software designs and implementations that meet stringent requirements for complex embedded control systems
3. Develop software using Green Hills, ARM Development Studio or other software development environments for embedded targets ranging from PowerPC to multi-core ARM processors
4. Use existing processes and evolve processes to utilize the most effective new techniques to minimize both design cost and product cost

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

1. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident
2. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
3. 4 years work experience in Embedded Software development using C/C++/Assembly language
4. Willingness to perform a wide variety of related tasks

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience in any of the following areas are a plus:

1. Higher level programming & scripting languages such as C++, Python, JAVA, Perl, etc.
2. Software modeling, such as Matlab/Simulink
3. Experience in Embedded real-time Operating System development
4. Experience with PowerPC, ARM, x86 processor architectures
5. Real-time embedded low level software development (e.g. Device Drivers and BSP development)
6. Hardware/Software integration and debug experience
7. Familiarity with source control systems and configuration management practice
8. Experience with Safety Critical or Functional Safety industry standards such as:
9. DO-178B or C, IEC 62304, IEC 62368, IEC 61508, ISO 26262

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
