Job summary

Bosch Mobility Aftermarket is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to create software for diagnostics devices. You will work on cutting-edge software using C++, C#, Java, and/or Android, contribute to architecture, and participate in design reviews within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

You will support hardware bring-up, driver development, and automated builds while pursuing ongoing professional development and sharing expertise across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years’ experience developing software and delivering to production across platforms (mobile, web, services).
• 3+ years' experience with C++, C#, Java, Kotlin, .NET, Maui, Xamarin, HTML, XML, TCP/IP, etc.
• Experience with Software Design Patterns (MVC, MVP, Interfaces).
• Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Full stack development on Android and/or Linux.
• Ability to learn from teammates and adopt best-in-class standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for Bosch diagnostics devices using C++, C#, Java, and/or Android.
• Define software architecture and design for new products.
• Participate in design and code reviews and follow best practices.
• Provide system-wide problem solving, solutions, and production support.
• Support hardware bring-up, device driver development, and automated builds.
• Seek personal development opportunities and grow your knowledge base.
• Collaborate with multiple departments in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Share knowledge of latest technologies and engineering practices.
