Job summary

Kymeta seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Redmond to develop, sustain, and expand software for advanced electronically steered antenna systems. You will work with RF, embedded, and software teams to deliver tracking, sensing, and integration capabilities across diverse environments.

Strong background in Python/C++, Linux, and networking is required. U.S. citizenship or security clearance preferred. This role involves up to 10% travel and offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, enhancement, and sustainment of software for antenna systems.
• Design and implement new control capabilities including tracking, sensing, radar, and regulatory/compliance functions.
• Collaborate across RF, antenna, software, FPGA, embedded systems, and networking teams to deliver integrated capabilities.
• Develop and maintain APIs, network services, and integration frameworks for third-party communication with Kymeta antennas.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
